With “My Friends Over You” pop punk nostalgia party coming up, we will be posting up videos of the featured bands that the local Guam bands will be covering.
Blink 182's "All The Small Things" music video is probably my favorite and most iconic music video out of all their songs. I remember back in the day going to my grandma's house after school and watching TRL's music video count down with Carson Daily, and this video was on the count down (super nostalgic moment right now). What made this music video so dope, was that it was a parody of all the popular music at the time (which were probably on the same count down). This video showed how much of a fun band Blink was, and they really helped to popularize the punk rock/alternative scene (even though the stigma back in the day being in "the punk rock scene" was to like/know underground bands and it probably hurt when one of your favorite bands got popular lol.) Blink 182 is a super unique band and no one can really replicate them, but the homies (Local Deluxe) I think will do a great job of portraying them at My Friends Over You...
