New Found Glory-"My Friends Over You"

Music video by New Found Glory performing My Friends Over You. (C) 2002 Geffen Records. This song was obviously where we got the name and inspiration for the event. Enjoy!

With “My Friends Over You” pop punk nostalgia party coming up, we will be posting up videos of the featured bands that the local Guam bands will be covering.

Fat Tofu is set to cover New Found Glory (NFG), a band I would consider the epitome of pop punk. With Fat Tofu being a ska band, this will be an interesting take on their version of NFG. Keep posted on our blog, we will be posting videos of the bands that will be covered on Sunday, Feb 4th at the "My Friends Over You" rock show.

Taking Back Sunday (Feat. Jordan Salinas)-"You Know How I Do"

With “My Friends Over You” pop punk nostalgia party coming up, we will be posting up videos of the featured bands that the local Guam bands will be covering.

The Moment You’ve Been Waiting For (TMYBWF) is set to cover Taking Back Sunday (TBS). We would not have done this show justice if we did not have them (TMYBWF) cover TBS. The lead singer, Jordan Salinas, had the honor of gracing the stage with non-other than TBS when they came to Guam back in 2015, to sing one of their hits, “You Know How I Do”, from their album (one of their best albums in my opinion), “Tell All Your Friends”.  This is/was probably one of the coolest things to ever happen to someone from the band/rock community on Guam, and Jordan Salinas killed it. I mean, first off it's Taking Back Sunday; secondly, they are on Guam performing live and one of the Guam boys went up there, did his thing, and killed it. Super proud moment. Anyways, below are two videos (couldn't decide which one did this epic moment justice) so please enjoy and be sure to check out the upcoming show "My Friends Over You".

Emo Nite LA

With our version of a pop punk/emo/screamo/punk rock nostalgia party coming up,, we can't help but to share where "My Friends Over You" influence has come from. EMO Nite LA is an epic nostalgia party hosted by three individuals (Morgan Freed, Babs Szabo, & T.J. Petracca) who run under the brand EMO Nite. What started off in Los Angeles, California is now something that is spreading nation wide. Although I was never able to experience an EMO Nite, I did grow up on that music, which was the soundtrack for my middle/high school life and still love it to this date. Binary Sunset wanted to throw our version of EMO Nite called "My Friends Over You" (click here for info), in hopes of bringing something like EMO Nite, or similiar,  to the Guam Music scene.  Check out the EMO Nite video below for all its awesomeness that this event radiates.
